About Me

I have two children of my own aged five and two. We live, together with my partner, in knaphill village, close to the high street. We have a cat, guinea pig and a goldfish as pets. My pets are vaccinated, deflead and wormed on a regular basis (with exception of the goldfish!) we live in a three bedroom house with a large enclosed back garden and a conservatory dedicated to messy play.

Both inside and outside are equipped with toys and equipment to cater for various ages, with these being regularly updated and added to.
I live within walking distance to parks, playing fields, local library, and toddler groups as well as other amenities. I am also in close proximity to a nursery, infant and junior schools as well as a senior school.

I aim to work together in partnership with parents to provide all children in my care with a safe, clean, homelike environment where everyone feels valued. I strive to provide a quality caring environment where standards are high and independence can be developed. Where there is a wealth of learning opportunities, both structured and flexible to help children reach their goals and promote their self-esteem.
I will use the EYFS welfare requirements as guidance for under fives and the Every Child Matters using the five outcomes as my guideline for over fives.

I currently hold an early year’s first aid certificate and also attended a childminding course approved and recognised by OFSTED. All over 16's within my household are CRB checked.
